Bjorn Rune Lie is a Norwegian illustrator who now lives and works in Bristol, England.

Inspired by old botanical illustrations, Victorian glass houses, folk art, modernism and black and white films, Bjorns pictures tends to be playful and humorous, yet rich in details and texture. They often feature (more or less) ordinary people in bizarre circumstances or vice versa; outlandish looking characters in an everyday setting.
