oshe design prints
‘Using photography as its framework, ‘Oshe Design’ realises visions of form without distraction. Streamlining of the colour spectrum means that reality is portrayed as blocks of colour and any peripheral elements become surplus to requirements.’ That’s what he told to us!

Based in Bristol, Oshe Design artist Stu Watkin feels too much time painting by numbers as a child and playing with Lego have influenced the way in which his work has developed into what you see on the walls inside Café Maitreya. Go to www.oshedesign.com for more info.

 the organic food festival

Another food festival? Hoorah!  The Organic Food Festival in association with the Soil Association is back at the Bristol Harbourside on September 11 th and 12 th .  Do come and visit us - we are near the bar and will be bringing our barbeque.  Look out for our usual top notch vegetarian sausages, burgers and salads to go with them.  But before that ...

st marks road street party

The party is planned for Saturday October 2nd. For those who haven’t been before, this will be an afternoon of music, food and probably some carnival. Sponsored by the many cafes’ and restaurants here, it's open to all. Come and just enjoy the carnival atmosphere. We will be putting our barbeque out on the pavement and organising some live music.
